| Cast your votes, please! Stargate Atlantis has been nominated in the "Favorite Sci Fi Show" category in the 34th annual People's Choice Awards. |
Stargate is up against reimagined SCI FI Channel series Battlestar Galactica, as well as the enduring BBC hit Doctor Who.
"MGM and the 'Stargate Atlantis' cast and crew are honored to be nominated for this prestigious People’s Choice award," said Charles E. Cohen, Senior Executive Vice President Finance and Corporate Development, MGM. "With the series confirmed to return for a fifth season on Sci Fi, two Stargate movies set for release next year, and a Stargate online role playing game currently in development, the franchise continues to be a timeless force and we encourage the millions fans to continue their support and vote Stargate!"
The role playing game Mr. Cohen is referencing is, of course, Stargate Worlds.
